The Boston Red Sox put out this press release earlier today. Read it and join in on the celebration.
To paraphrase Geraldo Rivera (whah?)... Happy days, everybody! Schmucko the Clown finally go sacked!
It goes without saying that the Red Sox should never have hired Bobby Valentine as their manager. It also goes without saying that they should have corrected their mistake by firing the clown months ago. That being said, it does not take away from our happiness that the manager who lead the Sox to their worst record since the mid 1960's will not be coming back next year.
