My step son and I saw Episode I in 3D today. The 3D effect was really well done. It was subtle. There wasn't any goofiness with things popping out of the screen at you. It just provided some additional depth that was pretty cool.
The movie is still far and away the worst of the six Star Wars flicks, but as I often say, bad Star Wars is still better than just about anything else.
After seeing it 50 times on the small screen the crappy parts of the story start popping out and over power everything else. Seeing it on the big screen has the opposite effect. Except for every single shot of Jar Jar. In the theater, Episode I is a good time.
