The pictures are back, but I'm still pissed. I am looking for work arounds. So far all I've got is public pictures auto posting from Posterous.

Addendum: Does it work? Sort of. The image was wider than the post, but that's all right. Instagram does the same thing already. This will work for picture posts to the public page, but the private page is no good. I don't want to manage privacy settings on yet another site. I'm going to look for other apps in the app store, but the blog posting pickings are a tad thin. I may just go back to the old standard... email posts.
