Fear, Hockey Style

Fear. Terror. Paranoia to a level never experienced before.

That's how I feel about tonight's Bruins game.

Game six. The Bruins still hold a solid three games to two lead in the best of seven series. One win for Boston and it's over. Philly goes home.

Game four was a great game. It was sad that it ended in overtime with a Philly win, but a three games to one lead is still more or less insurmountable.

Game five, back home in Boston... Disaster of '04 Yankees proportions. They sucked. They were just plain awful. Horrible. Painful. They were there on the ice, but they weren't there on the ice... ya know? It was just brutal to watch.

Now tonight we are back in Philadelphia for game six. Again, a win tonight for Boston and they advance. A loss tonight... and the unthinkable happens. A three nothing series lead becomes a three all tie. If they had played game five the way they played game six I would be feeling pretty confident in my home town team. Nervous, perhaps, but still confident. But given the way they did play game five... let's just say that if they play like that again Philly might as well book their hotel rooms for the Eastern Conference Finals.

We need the team that played games one through three to show up tonight. We need the Bruins to play like their lives depend on it. That's the only way they ever win. Determination is the key! Aggressiveness is the key!

Reposting this picture may be the key too!

Like the bear says, "Never, Ever Date a Flyers Fan. Even if She Shaves Her Mustache!"

You guys wouldn't want to upset the bear, would you? Win it tonight! Win it in game six and get yourselves into the Conference Finals!

Go Bruins!
GO BRUINS!
GO BRUINS!
